How to Get Here
No matter where you’re traveling from, you’re final destination before your cattle drive begins will be Sheridan, Wyoming. Below are some tips on how to get here.
1.Fly Directly to Sheridan, Wyoming via Denver, Colorado
Catch a flight from Denver, Colorado directly to Sheridan, Wyoming. Rent a care at the airport or schedule a taxi to take you to your hotel. The airport is only a 10 minute drive to our Historic Downtown.
3.Fly to Denver, Colorado & Drive to Sheridan, Wyoming
Travelers can also fly into Denver’s International Airport and rent a car for a 6.5 hour drive up to Sheridan. Make it a straight shot via I-25 or take some scenic detours along the way.
2. Fly to Billings, Montana & Drive to Sheridan, Wyoming
An easy 2 hour drive via I-90, Billings is another great option for travelers. Fly into Billings, Montana from multiple major airports and rent a car for the drive to Sheridan, Wyoming.
Where to Stay
There are many great options for hotels and housing in Sheridan! Explore some of our recommendations, but feel free to stay at any place of your choosing.
1.The Historic Sheridan Inn
Built in 1893 and within walking distance of the boutiques and restaurants of our Downtown, The Sheridan Inn is a wealth of comfort and history. Rest your head where Buffalo Bill and other famous Wild West characters have stayed. Enjoy a free breakfast, onsite restaurant, free wifi, and free parking.
3.Ramada Plaza
The Ramada Plaza & Convention Center is just down the road from the Sheridan Airport and right off of I-90. While not within walking distance of Sheridan’s downtown, it features a free shuttle ride to and from the airport, an onsite restaurant, bar, pool & hot tub, free wifi, free parking, and is within walking distance of the Walmart and Shipton’s (Western Wear Store) if you need any last minute items before your trip.
2. Sheridan’s Best Western
Best Western’s Sheridan Center is in the heart of our Historic Downtown. They boast a free breakfast, free wifi, free parking, indoor pool, bar, restaurant and complimentary shuttle rides to and from the Sheridan Airport.
4. The Nelson Inn
If you’re visiting for awhile or traveling with a large group, the Nelson Inn offers comfortable apartments with full kitchens and free wifi, sleeping up to 6 people. While you can walk downtown from this location, you may prefer to drive.

1.King’s Saddlery
King’s Saddlery is famous for their saddles, ropes, and ball caps. But you can busy yourself there for hours trying on hats, western wear and their museum. You haven’t been to Sheridan if you haven’t visited King’s!
3.Outdoor Farmer’s Market
Every Saturday from 9am-12pm Landon’s Greenhouse hosts our Farmer’s Market. There you’ll find a plethora of friendly faces and good homegrown foods, baked breads and more. You’ll need a vehicle to get there.
2. Downtown Shopping
Sheridan’s Main Street is the heart of our community and downtown. There you’ll find everything from antique malls, to boutique shops, to an indoor farmer’s market!
4. The Brinton Museum
A little off the beaten path, but well worth your time is the Brinton Museum. Enjoy collections from famous Western artists, American Indian artists, and learn about the English Royalty that settled the area. You’ll need a vehicle to get there.

Uptown Shabby Shack is an adventurous restaurant with a quirky take on your favorite comfort foods. You will be well taken care of and well fed with their generous portions and friendly service. We are proud to provide all of their ground beef.
3.The Pony Bar & Grill
Beer & Burgers! The Pony is where you go in Sheridan for ultra satisfying classics and a good time. And the burgers, are made with our famous dry-aged, single source ground beef, of course! Perfect dining option for family and friends!
2. The Brinton Bistro
Everything about the Brinton Birstro out in Big Horn, Wyoming is a treat! Enjoy a juicy burger made with our beef at this New American cuisine restaurant with stunning views of the Bighorn Mountains and a large collection of Plains Indian and Western artwork.
